    Short Description of My Current Work
    I manage the service-learning department at Purdue University.  I research service-learning as well as development tools for faculty and staff. I also teach online and have incorporated service-learning into my traditional based courses.

    Completed doctorate in Education, Curriculum and Instruction where I focused on researching service-learning in a community college environment.
    Incorporating service-learning into my own classes since 2005.

As you experience community service, you will be reflecting through questions regarding how you react and feel about those service learning events. Some questions will also be related to the logistics of your activities. Based on the methods used at Purdue, the handbook is also intended be of use to instructors at other institutions interested in leading their students through Service Learning projects
