Short Description of My Current Work
Conduct interviews to find out your needs, history, and expectations. From that I can assist you with technical support, personalized trainings, one on one coaching, evaluation; basically I have intense experience with policy, practice and professional development for Service Learning.

    Professional History
Became initially introduced to Service Learning while facilitating a training for the Corporation for National Service in 1996. The teaching methodology aligned with my beliefs about quality education. Since that time I have used it in my classroom for over 10 years, taught it to teachers district wide and in graduate programs I instructed. Now I consult, evualate and inspire teachers statewide in California.

    Professional Expertise/ Passions
Professional Development and Service Learning consulting including evaluation.

People leave trainings knowing themselves and others to a much deeper level. As a result of these emotional connections the learning that takes place in my workshops has a lasting effect. You may well know that is one significant factor in the impact of Service Learning because students make emotional connections, the learning lasts a life time.

I passionately work with youth and adults to help them identify and achieve their dreams.

What I'm Most Excited About in My Current Work
Assisting people in setting realistic goals and helping them to attain the resources to achieve them excites me. Time after time I find that "teacher burn-out" is a thing of the past when teachers are given opportunities to re-engage in educating their youth through Service Learning.

The professional development I offer results in achieving standards, eliminating classroom discipline issues, and collaboratively creating campus climates that are welcoming to everyone.
